    AFTER TE POWER PUFF GIRLS WERE DEFEATED AND WORLD WAS TAKEN OVER BY EVIL, PROFFESOR X SWEAR TO GOD TO AVENGE THE PPF'S DEATH IN THE FUTURE THUS HE DECIDES TO LEARN THE WAY OF THE SAMURAI AND BOOM SAMURAI JACK WAS BORN AVENGING THE PPF'S DEATH

    There used to be an add on Cartoon Network when Samurai Jack was new, and they compared the two. So yeah. We're all well aware they resemble each other.
