Lazy? Hardly. considering a normal animation for TV quality is 30 frames (drawings) a second. That's 1800 drawings a minute162,000 drawings for an hour and a half production. So please, tell me, who the hell is lazy for re-using a scene? I'd like to see you pump out 162k drawings. There is a reason why hand drawn films take so long to come out.

This is pretty freaky. I never knew Disney did this until I saw this picture. There are slight variations between the two scenes so that most people really wouldn't notice that unless they were told about it, or paid very very close attention.

Ive seen lots of this like, when King arthur gets (late) to the castle and he eats some meatballs is the same scene as when Mowgli eats some bananas in king Louie scene...

You guys are missing the obvious: Christopher Robin grew up to be Mowgli (after his parents were horrifically murdered), and Pooh grew up to be Baloo (and horrifically murdered Mowgli's parents). It's the same tree, many years later.

I think it's kinda like a subliminal thing... Like if a kid likes one movie more than the other, well if the same scene is in 2 movies, then it'll seem more familiar and then your more prone to like that one. Just my opinion.

guys seriously google this, disney has done this with so many films. there is the same kind of dancing scene with snow white and the sev dwarfs, and robin hood. there is so many the same things you dont notice :)

if you guys understood how much work it is to draw and animate just one scene, you would understand why they re-use scenes like this. it isn't being lazy, it's just making a really hard job easier.

Some of Disney's Nine Old Men worked on a bunch of the same movies together this is what they did to I guess safe time when drawing scenes. The same with the animation (e.i. Baloo and King Louie dancing and Little John and Lady Cluck dancing, from Jungle Book and Robin Hood)
